BHS Summer Attendance Recovery will be held July 15 - July 25th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday. Students who FAd one or more classes during the spring semester of the 23-24 school year are eligible. The cost is $10 per hour per course. Registration is Thursday, July 11th. Exploring History: WWII Museum Lesson: Miss Whitaker's World History students had an immersive experience exploring the impact of WWII through curated artifacts and interactive stations. From the European and Pacific Theaters to life on the home front and post-war reconstruction, they delved into the personal stories and historical events that shaped our world. This hands-on lesson brought history to life, encouraging critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the war's lasting legacy. #STAGS #STANDOUT

As a way of continuing to promote child nutrition and adding to the many celebrations capping the end of the school year, Berkeley County School District’s Office of Child Nutrition Services will launch a special giveaway next week (May 20–24) that will offer some big prizes.
Elementary, middle and high school students eating lunch and/or breakfast next week will be entered into a drawing for prizes that include, but are not limited to:
*iPads
*Wireless earbuds/headphones
*Underwater cameras
*Projectors
*Action cameras
*Bluetooth speakers
Students will receive one entry into the drawing for each meal they eat. Winners will be drawn at random, and those who eat multiple meals will obviously have an increased chance of winning.
